A helicopter of the Ministry of Defense crashed in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, the incident occurred at about 11:40 on Saturday near the village of Saryzhar, where the helicopter made a hard landing and then caught fire. There were three people on board: one of them died, and the two injured were taken to Aktobe on a military plane.
Rescue services immediately left for the scene to extinguish the fire and evacuate the victims. According to preliminary data, the helicopter can be identified as a Mi-35M, a multi-purpose military helicopter often used for combat operations and personnel transportation. The causes of the crash remain unknown, and an investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
