Mass protests broke out in Kazakhstan.

Less than a day after the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, assumed the presidency, after the elections held on the territory of the country, thousands of people took to the streets of Astana expressing their dissatisfaction with the fact that Tokayev became the president of the country and is pursuing current politics.

At the moment, it is known that the protests are peaceful, although they are expressed in a rather aggressive form, however, there were some arrests. At the moment, it is known that about two dozen people have been detained. At the same time, the protesters began to put forward demands for the immediate release of the detainees, threatening to take drastic measures.

Exactly a year ago, a similar situation was observed in Kazakhstan, which led to an extremely aggressive form of protests, which almost resulted in a seizure of power in the country, and although at the moment there are much fewer protesters, the risk of repeating the situation at the beginning of this year is quite possible.
