An air alert has been declared in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. According to preliminary information, a second wave of missile strikes is expected. This is the third wave of strikes (the first was carried out with the use of UAVs) on the Ukrainian capital in the last 24 hours.

At the moment, it is not known for certain about missile launches on the territory of the Ukrainian capital, however, over the past XNUMX hours, Kyiv and the Kiev region have been subjected to large-scale missile strikes and attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles.

During the daytime strikes on the territory of Kyiv and the Kyiv region, it became known about the likely suppression of air defense systems, including the American Patriot air defense systems. This indicates that the main targets of strikes are military facilities and deployment sites of enemy air defense systems. However, there is no information about the success of such attacks so far.

Experts do not exclude that another wave of strikes will follow at night, which will allow to overload the air defense systems of Ukraine and thereby increase the effectiveness of attacks on military targets.
