Massive anti-government protests are taking place in China.

The reason for this was the anti-COVID restrictions imposed by the Chinese authorities against the population, where mass cases of coronavirus infection are detected. The situation, according to experts, is already critical, since from ordinary peaceful rallies, the situation has led to radical protests, fights with police officers, etc.

The situation is extremely difficult, as an attempt to restrict the movement of people, by setting up special posts and barricades, forced the protesters to begin their assault. It was caught on video and quickly caused a wide public outcry. If initially the authorities of the country tried to hide the situation, which was made possible thanks to the closed Internet, now video frames quickly began to leak into the network and, apparently, in 72 hours the situation grew from ordinary discontent to close to critical.

It is noteworthy that the protesters are already opposing not only anti-COVID restrictions, but also against the Chinese authorities, shouting appropriate anti-government slogans.

It is known that due to the outbreak of mass protests in China, security measures have been strengthened. In particular, additional weapons were distributed to the services that monitor compliance with anti-COVID measures.
