A Russian heavy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Okhotnik" was shot down in Konstantinovka, which initially gave rise to rumors about the possible loss of a Su-25 aircraft. This was reported by "ASTRA".

The incident caused a wide resonance on social networks and in the media, but military experts and representatives of the aviation community quickly dispelled rumors about the death of pilots. According to Fighterbomber, “all our aircraft and crews are home. Alive, healthy and safe.” Thus, it became clear that the downed object was not a manned aircraft, but a heavy attack drone “Okhotnik”.

The Voevoda Broadcasts channel, also commenting on the situation, confirmed this information, adding: "It's the S-70 Hunter. Calm down already. To hell with this UAV. We'll make a new one."

The Okhotnik (S-70) UAV is one of the most modern and largest unmanned aerial vehicles in the Russian army's arsenal. Its characteristics include the ability to carry a large amount of combat payload and perform complex strike missions. The device is being developed as part of a program to create strike drones that can be used to carry out high-precision strikes on ground targets without the participation of a pilot.
