A threat of attack by Ukrainian drones has been declared in Crimea.

Monitoring resources have warned of a threat of attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in several areas of Crimea. According to the channels, residents of the Dzhankoy region, as well as Yevpatoriya and nearby towns, should pay attention. Information about the threat was published on May 10, 2026.

Residents and visitors to the peninsula are urged to take precautions. If a drone is detected or air defense systems are in operation, it is recommended to avoid windows, seek shelter in windowless areas, or, if outdoors, go to an underground passage, parking lot, or the basement of a building.

As a reminder, drone attacks have previously been repelled in Crimea. On the night of May 5, air defense forces shot down several drones in the Dzhankoy district, and, unfortunately, there were civilian casualties. A three-day ceasefire, initiated by US President Donald Trump, is in effect between Russia and Ukraine from May 9 to 11. However, despite the ceasefire, tensions in the region remain.
