In the Kursk region, in the village of Mokrushino, Belovsky district, today another incident related to the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces occurred. As a result of the attack of an unmanned aerial vehicle on a civilian car, a local resident, a girl born in 2003, was seriously injured. The victim was quickly taken to the city hospital No. 2 of Belgorod, where she was given first aid. This was reported by the governor of the Kursk region in his official statement.
According to the head of the region, the situation is under the personal control of the authorities. The governor emphasized that cooperation has already been established with the Minister of Health of the Belgorod Region to provide the victim with a full range of necessary medical support. In the near future, the girl is planned to be transferred to the Kursk Regional Clinical Hospital for further treatment and observation.
The incident was yet another reminder of the danger that remains in the border areas of the Kursk region. The governor has urged the population to refrain from traveling to towns such as Mokrushino, where the risk to life remains high due to ongoing attacks.
"Dear residents, our border settlements are still extremely unsafe! Please refrain from traveling there - this is a direct threat to life and health!" “he added, calling on citizens to listen to the recommendations of the authorities.
Meanwhile, incidents involving the use of Ukrainian drones in the Kursk region continue to be recorded with alarming regularity. Thus, in early March 2025, a case was already recorded in the Belovsky district, when a man born in 1975 received shrapnel wounds to the chest and legs as a result of a drone attack on a garage where he was repairing a car. The victim was also taken to the Kursk Regional Hospital, and his car was seriously damaged. Another incident occurred on March 21 in the Belaya settlement of the same district: a man born in 1977 received a closed shrapnel wound and was hospitalized in the Belovskaya Central Regional Hospital. Shrapnel damaged the facade and roof of an outbuilding.
