In the Kursk region, a state of emergency (emergency situation) was introduced on August 7. This was announced by the acting governor of the region, Alexey Smirnov. The decision was made in connection with the need to eliminate the consequences of hostilities and the entry of enemy forces into the region.
According to Smirnov, a difficult operational situation remains in the border areas of the Kursk region. The introduction of a state of emergency will make it possible to mobilize all available resources to stabilize the situation and ensure the safety of residents of the region.
“To eliminate the consequences of enemy forces entering the region, I decided to introduce an emergency situation in the Kursk region from August 7”,” noted Alexey Smirnov.
