In Lipetsk, more than 10 thousand people have been left without heating for the third day, and 40 thousand city residents have no electricity. Problems with public services arose as a result of breaks in heating networks, which led to power outages. The situation is complicated by the fact that one of the de-energized blocks is located just a five-minute walk from the Lipetsk city administration building.
Residents of Sovetskaya Street were particularly affected by this situation. They report that since the early morning of January 13, when problems with heating and electricity began, nothing has been done to correct the problems until now. In houses without heating, the air temperature barely reaches 13 degrees, and residents are trying to warm up using gas appliances. However, there is concern that the gas supply may soon be cut off.
Particular attention is drawn to the fact that the houses most affected by the cold are located in close proximity to the building of the city administration and housing and communal services department of the Lipetsk region - less than 500 meters. Despite the proximity to administrative buildings, problems with heating and electricity supply remain unresolved, which causes additional dissatisfaction among residents.
