In the LPR, 3 tons of TNT were artificially blown up.

Sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, carrying out mine clearance of the liberated territories of the LPR, collected a large number of explosive objects - mines TM-62M and OZM, grenades for VOG and RPG, as well as shells of various calibers. For the safe disposal of ammunition, it was decided to detonate them artificially, as a result of which the explosion turned out to be so strong that the cloud from it rose to a height of more than a hundred meters.

On the presented video frames, you can see the moment of destruction of a large number of discovered munitions, including mines, unexploded shells, grenades, etc. Thanks to an artificial explosion, dangerous munitions were successfully destroyed. According to the Russian edition of Russian Spring, in total, ammunition and shells with a capacity equivalent to 3 tons of TNT were destroyed, as a result of which such a powerful explosion occurred.

To date, there is still a huge amount of shells and ammunition on the territory of the LPR and DPR, which must be detected and neutralized, however, mine clearance work can take a very long time, since vast territories remain unexplored.
