Luhansk People's Republic, June 5 — Avia.pro. Extensive temporary restrictions on passenger transportation are being introduced in the Luhansk People's Republic. According to an official order from the regional governor's administration, the special regime will take effect at 4:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, and will remain in effect until further notice from the authorities.
All scheduled and non-scheduled passenger services on strategic sections of the federal highways R-150 (Belgorod - Starobelsk - Luhansk - Donetsk - Mariupol) and R-280 "Novorossiya" (Rostov-on-Don - Mariupol - Melitopol - Simferopol) are subject to a complete ban. Additionally, all transportation of organized groups of children is temporarily prohibited within the republic, with the exception of events organized by the relevant Ministry of Education. Commuter train service is also suspended completely, unless otherwise approved by the LPR Ministry of Transport.
The official regulatory document was distributed by the republic's press service. Relevant agencies strongly recommend that local residents completely avoid using personal vehicles on the R-150 and R-280 roads to protect their lives and health. However, internal municipal bus routes will continue to operate with targeted modifications to their current routes.
