Chisinau, June 5 — Avia.pro. A large Il-76 military transport aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian side took off from a border airfield heading for European airspace. The heavy aircraft's flight and subsequent landing for refueling at Chisinau International Airport were recorded by Flightradar, a specialized monitoring service.
According to informed sources, the aircraft was carrying a commercial cargo, officially classified as non-military. Experts have completely ruled out the possibility that the aircraft was being leased for civilian use, as none of Ukraine's registered airlines have ever leased their Il-76s to third-party operators. Analysts attribute the covert flight to the creation of alternative routes for transporting large amounts of cash and gold, following the recent detention of a similar transport in Hungary.
Information about the route and logistical details of this flight was released by aviation-related resources. Officials in Moldova and Ukraine are not commenting on the aircraft's final destination or the purpose of transporting the valuable cargo, while experts continue to monitor the military transport aircraft's movements.
