Two more suspicious 10-ruble notes found in Moscow: no explosion threat

On November 12, 2025, two more rolled-up 10-ruble bills were discovered in different parts of the capital, causing alarm among local residents following the recent incident in Krasnogorsk, where an explosive device disguised as cash injured a 10-year-old boy. According to the Telegram channel "Baza," the discoveries were recorded near a bus stop on Nizhegorodskaya Street in the Nizhegorodsky District and on Petrovsko-Razumovsky Proyezd in the Savelovsky District.

Police and bomb squads quickly arrived at the scene. An initial inspection of Nizhegorodskaya Street revealed no explosives.

"Law enforcement officers examined the package; there is no threat of explosion." — sources reported.

A similar result was obtained on Petrovsko-Razumovsky proezd:

"They didn't find any threats either.", they clarified later.

Following the explosion in Krasnogorsk, where the Investigative Committee has opened an assassination investigation, Muscovites are wary of such discoveries. Police are investigating the origin of the banknotes, considering the possibility of a prank or an attempted hoax. A similar bundle of cash, without explosives, was found in Mitino the day before. Residents are urged not to touch any suspicious objects and to report them to law enforcement. Patrols in the districts have been stepped up.
