Enhanced security measures have been taken in the Russian capital against the backdrop of possible threats. According to the Baza telegram channel, constant monitoring is being carried out in Moscow and the Moscow region, aimed at preventing possible infiltrations by sabotage groups. In this regard, in the first and second special police regiments, as well as in units of the Russian Guard, daily “reserves” have been formed from among employees ready for immediate response.
Sources say police have been warned of possible attempts to snatch their weapons. In response to this, the leadership of the special regiment decided that new employees could go on duty only when accompanied by experienced colleagues. Patrolling and control have also been strengthened: employees of the special regiment, armed with machine guns, are now on duty together with traffic police crews, ensuring safety on the city’s roads.
Particular attention is paid to the protection of the central regions of Moscow and the area around the Kremlin. Measures have been stepped up to prevent any possible threats, including additional patrols and reinforced security posts.
In addition, employees of the special regiment and riot police are in reserve at their base every day, ready for prompt departure if necessary to quickly respond to possible incidents. These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens and protecting key facilities in the capital.
