Moscow introduced a regime of universal isolation.

A few days ago, the capital authorities denied the possible introduction of quarantine on the territory of Moscow, however, from midnight on the territory of the city, a regime of universal isolation was in effect. Citizens are forbidden to leave their homes, and in the near future it will be possible to appear on the street only with special passes.

The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, reported that the introduction of harsh isolation measures is connected with the sharply complicated situation in Moscow and the refusal of citizens to observe the regime of self-isolation. Despite the introduction of harsh measures, the situation is not positioned as quarantine, although given the ban on leaving their homes, experts are positioning it precisely as this set of measures.

“Leaving the apartment is allowed only in cases:

• applying for emergency (emergency) medical care and other direct threats to life and health,
• travel to work if you are required to go to work,
• Shopping at your nearest existing store or pharmacy
• walking pets at a distance not exceeding 100 meters from the place of residence (stay),
• need to take out household garbage.

And in the coming days - after carrying out technical and organizational measures - it will be possible to leave if there is a special pass issued in the manner established by the Moscow Government.

Over the coming week, a smart system of monitoring compliance with the home regime and established rules for the movement of citizens will be deployed. Gradually, but steadily, we will tighten the control necessary in this situation.

At present, there is unconfirmed evidence that control over compliance with the strict isolation regime will be assigned to Rosgvardia officers and the military, however, there is no information about military servicemen being pulled into the Russian capital, and therefore the information may well be false.
