On the night of May 16, 2026, a major fire broke out at a production site at 20/2 Avtoremontnaya Street in Naberezhnye Chelny. Emergency services received a call about the fire around 3:00 a.m. The fire engulfed polymer products in an open area, covering an area exceeding six thousand square meters.

A huge column of black smoke rose from the scene, visible for several kilometers. Local residents are complaining of a strong, acrid odor in the air due to burning plastic and paint products.

Seventy specialists and 23 pieces of equipment, including fire trucks, were deployed to extinguish the fire. Two monitor nozzles and three RS-70 nozzles from mobile firefighting units were deployed, and five gas and smoke protection teams were formed. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the incident.
