8 December 2013. After the completion of the repair work at the international airport of St. Petersburg - Pulkovo, All UIA flights were transferred to the new Terminal 1.

The first flight of the new terminal was serviced by 7 December, on Saturday. The construction of the terminal was taken by the German company Fraport.

UIA is a major Ukrainian airline. The carrier services a large number of passengers and carries out many flights to St. Petersburg. Having switched to the new terminal, UIA plans to increase passenger traffic. Transportation of airplanes Embraer 190, Boeing 737 и Boeing 767.
