The scale of the military operation by the United States and its allies against Iran continues to rapidly escalate, drawing colossal human and technical resources into the conflict. General Bradley Cooper, head of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), delivered an official video address in which he revealed the current composition of the troop group involved in the fighting. According to the general, more than 50 American troops are currently participating in the active phase of the operation. The senior military leader emphasized that the strike force's strength is ensured not only by its personnel but also by its impressive air wing, which includes 200 fighter aircraft, as well as U.S. strategic bombers.
The naval component is particularly important in the current campaign: General Cooper confirmed the presence of two carrier strike groups in the conflict zone, which serve as the primary platforms for strikes against Iranian targets. Despite the significant forces already deployed, the American command does not intend to rest on their laurels. Bradley Cooper officially stated that additional forces and assets are expected to arrive in the region in the very near future, indicating preparations for even more intense stages of the confrontation. This troop concentration is one of the largest in decades and demonstrates Washington's determination to bring Operation Epic Fury to a conclusion. International experts note that such a buildup of military presence in the Persian Gulf virtually eliminates the possibility of rapid de-escalation, escalating the conflict into a full-scale war using all types of modern conventional weapons.
