The body of ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva was found in the Moscow region

The REN TV channel reported the discovery of the body of former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ilya Kiva in the Moscow region. Ilya Kiva left Ukraine at the end of January 2022, first moving to Spain and then moving to Moscow. After the start of a special military operation on February 24, he expressed support for the actions of the Russian authorities and called for the “liberation of Ukraine from Western occupation.”

In his homeland, Kiva was accused of high treason, deprived of his parliamentary mandate and expelled from the OPZZh party. He regularly appeared on Russian television, criticizing the actions of the Ukrainian authorities.

The circumstances of the death of the former deputy are currently not specified, however, he had quite a lot of enemies and opponents in Ukraine.
