Moscow region, June 15 — Avia.pro. A major city near Moscow was hit by an air strike, causing local residents to report a series of powerful explosions in the sky. A fire was quickly detected at the site where debris from the destroyed buildings fell.

According to preliminary reports from eyewitnesses and local sources, the sounds of air defense systems were clearly audible in several areas of Reutov. Following loud booms, debris from the downed air target fell within the city limits, sparking a fire, to which emergency services are already being dispatched.

Previously, operational monitoring channels issued a warning about the imposition of a drone alert in the Moscow region. Air defense forces on alert continue to monitor the region's airspace to intercept any remaining targets.
