Moscow region, June 13 — Avia.pro. Restrictive measures in the retail sale of petroleum products have been implemented in the capital region, where a major federal chain has introduced emergency regulations on fuel sales to the public.

According to local residents, reported to journalists from the resource "Beware, News," official announcements about the introduction of limits have appeared at Tatneft gas stations in the city of Lytkarino. According to the established regulations, a maximum of 20 liters of gasoline per passenger car per day is available.

Citing service station personnel, it was reported that these strict restrictions are not a localized measure and have already been implemented at all Tatneft service stations. Previously, similar technical issues and daily quotas for motor fuel sales were reported by customers at service stations in St. Petersburg.

Official representatives of the fuel company and relevant ministries have not yet commented on the reasons for introducing restrictions at gas stations. The restrictions come amid a general optimization of fuel and lubricant inventories and enhanced security measures at civilian infrastructure facilities.
