The reason why the St. Petersburg airport refused to board nine passenger liners was a dense morning fog that significantly reduced visibility within the runway. Already closer to 10 the fog began to dissipate, and the air harbor almost completely restored its normal operation, however, experts warn that with the onset of a cold snap and with the lack of stability of day and night temperatures, fogs will increasingly lead to delays.

It should be clarified that a similar situation as at the Pulkovo airport, this morning was observed in other air harbors of the country.
