Declassified Pentagon files reveal astronauts' testimony of unknown phenomena on the Moon.

The release of a large trove of declassified documents on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) has uncovered, among other materials, evidence suggesting that American astronauts encountered unknown phenomena on the lunar surface. The declassified files include photographs taken from the surface of Earth's natural satellite, revealing lights of various sizes and shapes.

Transcripts of communications between the crews of the Apollo and Gemini 7 space missions were also released. One fragment of the astronauts' conversation includes the following words: "Outside my window, there's a whole bunch of big, bright lights. And from Ron's window, it looks like the Fourth of July fireworks. They're very jagged, angular pieces tumbling through space."

A document dated August 13, 2024, prepared by the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) also lists and analyzes several incidents that occurred during NASA space missions. These include the observation of a thin, glowing blue grid in low-Earth orbit during the SpaceX Crew-2 mission in 2021 and the observation of a small flock of UFOs from the ISS in July 2022, both of which were previously classified.

The Pentagon continues to release declassified documents as part of the Donald Trump administration's "maximum transparency" initiative. New files are promised to be released every few weeks as they are analyzed.
