In the Republika Srpska, they left a "message" to the bombers of the US Air Force

Residents of Banja Luka, the capital of the Republika Srpska, which is part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, gave a "warm" welcome to NATO combat aircraft flying over the city. They expressed their protest against NATO's military presence by organizing an action called "Salute to NATO aircraft!".

The Serbian People's Movement "The Choice is Ours" held an event on Krajina Square. The protesters hung out an 11-meter banner with a categorical message to the US military: "**** you B-1B". This message was addressed to American B-1B Lancer supersonic bombers flying over the city, as Avia.pro journalists have previously reported.

Serbian media note that such an action sends a signal about the unwillingness of citizens to see NATO aircraft in the sky over the Republika Srpska. Dane Čanković, president of the People's Movement The Choice Is Ours, called on the Bosnian and Muslim brothers from the region to unite with the Serbs in protest against the accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Republika Srpska, to NATO.

Čanković stressed that joint resistance to joining NATO is the best way to preserve peace, protect freedom, identity, family values and the way of life of the inhabitants of the region. This speech laid the foundation for the creation of a united front against participation in a military alliance, causing a wide resonance among citizens.
