More than 500 injured in Pakistan suicide attack

The Peshawar suicide attack was one of the largest terrorist attacks in history.

Today's suicide attack on worshipers at a mosque in Peshawar has left more than 500 injured and 32 dead. The attack was carried out by a Taliban terrorist (a terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited by Russian law - ed.), which does not exclude an armed conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Initially, it was reported that the total number of victims was about 80 people, however, later this figure increased many times over. At the moment, at least 517 injured Pakistani citizens are known. At the same time, the sources do not exclude that the number of such may be much larger, as the work of rescuers at the site of the suicide bombing continues.

Experts note that such a terrorist attack may be the largest in history among the attacks committed by suicide bombers. This indicates that with the coming to power of the Taliban, the latter have not changed in the least in terms of their terrorist activities.
