The Kerch bridge was damaged - traffic on the railway and road bridge was stopped.

The bridge connecting the Krasnodar Territory with the Crimea through the Kerch Strait was seriously damaged. As a result of the fire, the road bridge was seriously damaged. Judging by the pictures and videos, at least two spans collapsed into the water, while another span of the road bridge was damaged.

It is still very problematic to determine the nature of the damage to the railway bridge, however, on the photographs of the automobile bridge, you can see the absence of several spans - the latter fell into the water and at the moment transport communication with the Crimea through the Kerch bridge is impossible.

The fire on the Kerch bridge continues at this moment. Judging by the video footage taken from the side of the road bridge, burning is observed in the middle of the train. Due to the impossibility of approaching the place of burning, the process of extinguishing a fire on the Crimean bridge is extremely difficult, while the fact that it caused the fire of railway tanks remains unknown.

There are no official statements on this matter yet, however, according to preliminary data, the nearby arches of the bridge were not damaged.
