On the night of November 14, the major port city of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Krai was subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian drones. The main target of the strike was the Sheskharis transshipment complex, one of the leading oil terminals on Russia's Black Sea coast, according to the regional task force. Falling debris from the downed drones sparked a fire at the oil depot, which was extinguished. There were no casualties among the facility's personnel, but damage to residential buildings and a civilian vessel was reported in the city.

The Sheskharis complex, commissioned in 1964 and owned by state-owned Transneft, plays a key role in the seaborne export of Russian Urals crude oil. Its infrastructure includes 30 crude oil storage tanks with a total capacity of 820 cubic meters, 16 fuel oil storage tanks, and 10 diesel fuel storage tanks. A significant portion of deliveries to refineries in the region and abroad pass through the terminal daily, accounting for up to 10 percent of Russia's total seaborne exports of petroleum products. The attack may have temporarily disrupted these flows, although Transneft has not yet officially commented on the impact on logistics.

The operational headquarters clarified:

"In Novorossiysk, an oil depot at the Sheskharis transshipment complex was damaged as a result of a Kyiv regime drone attack. Coastal facilities were also damaged. Specialists from emergency and special services are on the scene. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties."

According to the Ukrainian side, the strike was part of a combined operation using Lyuty and FP-2 drones to precisely adjust attacks.
