In Dubna, the serial production of the "Inokhodets" UAV starts, the press service of the manufacturing company reported.

A new plant specializing in the serial production of shock drones will be opened in Dubna near Moscow and will be put into operation by November 2021. It became known that the new enterprise will occupy an area of ​​45 thousand square meters, and about 1,5 thousand employees will work on it.

According to RIA Novosti, the new plant will primarily assemble the Inokhodets strike drones for the Russian military, as well as civilian and reconnaissance versions of the drone. Thanks to the serial production, they are going to cover the shortage of the "Pacer" strike drones in the Russian army. It is possible that in the future the enterprise will start assembling other UAV models that are being developed by the Kronstadt company.

"Orion" was developed by the "Kronstadt" company under a contract with the Ministry of Defense within the framework of the ROC "Inokhodets". The UAV can be kept in the air with a maximum load for up to 24 hours. At the same time, the maximum payload of the drone is 200 kg, the flight height is up to 7.5 thousand meters. A line of ammunition has been developed for the drone, which forms a universal armament complex, which is also used for the Forpost and Altius strike drones.
