Kamov JSC has finished the syncopro sketch design.

Information Agency "TASS" reported on the presentation of the conceptual design of a promising high-speed helicopter, developed in the JSC "Kamov". This high-speed car has a “synchropper” scheme (the second name is “synchroopter”). She has two rotors and one pusher.

To date, the specialists of the design office "Kamov" formed a general view of the machine, its layout. Calculations were also made of the flight performance of this aircraft with vertical take-off and landing.

A prospective synchrocopter machine is a helicopter, with two rotors that are installed at a short distance from each other. They rotate in opposite directions. When rotating the propeller blades intersect. To prevent their collision, provides synchronization of rotation.

The developers stated that the machine, created according to this scheme, will have a take-off weight of 6,5 tons. Weight payload will be a ton. The device will have a maximum speed of 420 kilometers per hour, and cruising speed will be 357 kilometers per hour. The flight range of a promising vehicle will reach 1228 kilometers, the static ceiling 4700 meters, and the dynamic 5600 meters.

Designers are developing a passenger version of the syncrocopter. Later it will be possible to develop a car for the armed forces.
