Voronezh region, June 6 — Avia.pro. A state of high alert has been declared in the Voronezh Region due to the detection of drone activity. A special security status has been declared in the Rossoshansky District, where there is an immediate threat of air strikes, Governor Alexander Gusev announced in an official statement.

The municipality quickly activated regional public address systems to inform the public. The regional governor urged local residents to immediately enter buildings, find safe locations away from windows, and remain inside until the alarm was officially lifted.

Citizens were reminded of the procedure to follow if they visually detect drones in the sky: they must immediately leave the object's line of sight and report the coordinates to emergency services by dialing 112. Air defense units are on full alert to intercept aerial targets.
