Samara Oblast, June 14 — Avia.proRestrictive measures and technical problems in the retail trade of petroleum products have been reported in the Volga region, where consumers have experienced disruptions in the supply of fuels and lubricants.

According to local residents, reported to journalists from the resource "Beware, News," over the past two days, many Tatneft gas stations in the Samara region have completely stopped selling gasoline. Gas stations continue to operate normally, but operators either have no liquid motor fuel at all or are selling only liquefied gas.

At the few gas stations in the region where gasoline is available, the administration has imposed strict quotas on sales to consumers. Drivers can purchase fuel in strictly limited quantities—no more than 20 liters per vehicle.

Earlier, Rustam Minnikhanov, the head of neighboring Tatarstan, officially confirmed the presence of large queues of vehicles at local gas stations, which prompted the republic to also implement daily quotas. These measures to optimize fuel reserves at oil depots come amid the reported overnight strikes by Ukrainian drones on fuel and energy facilities in the Yaroslavl region.
