Gasoline sales restrictions have been introduced in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg, June 3 — Avia.pro. Restrictions on the retail sale of motor fuel, previously recorded in Crimea, New Moscow, Ryazan, Kursk and Belgorod regions, have spread to St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The regional news outlet Fontanka reported on the imposition of limits at gas stations, citing fuel market participants and appeals from local residents.

According to journalists, the Kirishiavtoservis gas station chain has imposed a fuel limit of no more than 50 liters per customer, while at some Rosneft stations, the limit has been increased to 95 liters per customer. Managers of major oil depots in the region explain that the most pressing issue is with AI-95 gasoline, which was previously supplied by the local Kinef plant.

There are no official statements from the authorities yet.
