In Sergiev Posad, near Moscow, a group of men in civilian clothes violently detained a young man on the street. The incident occurred in full view of passersby, who filmed the incident and posted it on social media.

The detainee screamed for help and asked for water while being held on the ground. Several women approached and attempted to intervene. One of the men showed identification and claimed they were Ministry of Defense employees and that the detainee was a deserter.

"We are from the Ministry of Defense, this is a deserter," — said one of the participants in the arrest, showing a document.

Witnesses called the police. The young man's subsequent fate remains unknown, and there has been no official comment from law enforcement or the military.
