On the territory of Syria will be one more Russian airbase.

Information on this is currently not received official confirmation, however, guided by experts independent of each other data in Russian and Western media, it is believed that at the present time on the territory of Palmyra, the Russian military produced a springboard for the preparation of a new airbase. It should be clarified that the Russian experts point to the fact that the base will be used to accommodate only ground forces, while Western experts say that we are talking about the air base.

Given the fact that the base is built in Palmyra, located almost in the central part of the country, Russia will certainly try to expand its military presence in Syria.
