In a pre-trial detention center in Rostov-on-Don, prisoners were sold alcohol, telephones and knives

In the Rostov detention center, illegal trade was discovered, organized by several employees of the institution. In exchange for bribes, prisoners were given alcohol, mobile phones and even knives. This was reported by the Shot telegram channel.

The pre-trial detention center staff have established a whole system of illegal services for prisoners. For money, prisoners could rent a TV for the night, buy alcohol or mobile phones. For example, a push-button phone could be bought for 10 thousand rubles, and a touch-screen phone for 25 thousand. Alcohol was also available, albeit at inflated prices.

The most outrageous fact was that sharp objects, including hacksaws, were sold to prisoners. It was one of these hacksaws that the terrorists used to escape from the cell. The cost of such an instrument was only 2,5 thousand rubles. This fact caused particular outrage, since it was with the help of a hacksaw that the criminals were able to escape and take hostages.
