A drone attack threat has been issued in Sochi. City authorities and emergency services have issued the alert.

Residents and visitors to the resort are urged to strictly observe safety regulations. Those staying at home are advised to avoid windows and seek shelter in a room that doesn't face the sea, or in a windowless area (hallway, bathroom, toilet, or storage room). Those outside are advised to seek shelter in the basement of a nearby building, a cellar, a tunnel, an underpass, or a parking lot.

Using a vehicle for cover or hiding near the walls of apartment buildings is strictly prohibited. Authorities also strongly request that witnesses refrain from photographing or filming air defense systems, drones, and their debris, as well as the work of special services and defense equipment at attack sites. Publishing such materials on social media is prohibited.

Residents are urged to remain calm and wait for the alarm to be lifted. Emergency services can call 112. The threat will be lifted once the situation is safe.
