The American court abolished compulsory registration of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Earlier, the introduction of mandatory registration of unmanned aerial vehicles was due to the constant complaints of American air carriers that the drones create a potential danger for the movement of aircraft, however, the court acknowledged that the registration of drones does not provide the proper effect and therefore canceled it.

Experts in turn argue that, on the one hand, this approach provides more opportunities for UAV owners purchased for personal use, however, on the other hand, previously mandatory registration to some extent deterred owners from approaching large aircraft.
