The United States announced the explosion of the Russian Doomsday torpedo.

Representatives of the Middlebury Institute for International Studies in Monterey said that the first unsuccessful test of the unique Russian nuclear torpedo "Status-6" (underwater nuclear unmanned vehicle - editor's note) could have caused the explosion in Nyonox. This is evidenced by the Zvezdochka project 20180 rescue vessel, which was previously featured in this project, recorded by spacecraft.

It is noteworthy that the Status-6 nuclear underwater drone does indeed have a nuclear power plant, which could lead to the release of radioactive particles into the atmosphere, recorded, among other things, near the borders of Finland and Norway.

On the other hand, it was previously established that the explosion took place on an offshore platform, which is also evidenced by satellite images, and the very fact that an underwater nuclear drone was tested only 5 kilometers from the coast caused serious questions from specialists.

“At the moment, we can unequivocally say that this is not about testing Zircon missiles - they are testing them at a completely different enterprise, and similar missiles do not have radioactive elements. The probability that the “Status-6” was tested is extremely small ”, - the expert notes.
