In Stavropol, schoolchildren set fire to four communication base stations

In Stavropol, two schoolchildren set fire to four base stations of telecom operators, which led to the initiation of a criminal case under the article “Terrorist attack”. During the investigation, it turned out that the arson was committed by a 15-year-old eighth-grader and a 15-year-old ninth-grader from different schools in the city of Nevinnomyssk. The purpose of their actions, according to investigators, was to destabilize the activities of government bodies.

The incidents occurred over a five-day period and affected four different base stations. The first station was damaged near the Lemana Pro store on Southern Bypass Street, the second near the Metro store, the third near the Palace of Justice on Dzerzhinsky Street and the fourth near the Magnit store in the Industrial District.

According to sources, on August 2, a criminal case was opened against the teenagers under the article “Terrorist attack”, which provides for a punishment of 12 to 20 years in prison. The schoolchildren were detained by law enforcement agencies and are currently under investigation.
