On the night of October 11-12, Russian air defense forces successfully neutralized an attack by 32 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported. The strikes targeted targets in the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Smolensk regions, where air defense systems demonstrated high effectiveness.

According to the agency's official statement, 15 drones were shot down over the Belgorod and Bryansk regions, which have recently been regularly targeted by UAV attacks. Two more drones were destroyed over the Smolensk region, where attempted attacks on infrastructure had also been previously recorded.

Official sources did not report casualties or significant damage, but local residents reported the sounds of explosions and air defense activity on Telegram channels.
