An unusual incident occurred in the village of Kuzhenkino in the Tver region: local authorities asked residents to return a machine gun that one of the soldiers accidentally forgot near a store. The incident occurred on October 3, when the soldiers assigned to the local unit handed over their shift and were heading to the unit. On the way, they decided to stop by the store for cigarettes.
Three of the group entered the store, leaving one soldier outside to guard the weapon. However, after making their purchases, they probably became distracted and continued on their way, forgetting about the machine gun. Only after several dozen meters, one of the soldiers realized that one machine gun was missing and hurried back to the store. However, when they returned, the weapon had already disappeared.
According to sources, soldiers have been searching the area for almost 24 hours without sleep, checking garages and sheds in the hope of finding the missing machine gun. Despite their efforts, the search has not yielded any results yet.
The village administration calls on citizens to be vigilant and not try to hide the find. It is emphasized that the return of weapons can be carried out anonymously, without consequences for those who found them.
