On the evening of October 9, Ufa residents reported an explosion in the Zaton neighborhood, presumably caused by a drone striking the roof of a residential building under construction in the Novaland complex on Mayor Dostavalov Street. However, according to preliminary reports from the BAZA Telegram channel, the incident was caused by a fire and subsequent detonation of a gas cylinder used for welding work at the site.

Witnesses to the incident described thick smoke and flames visible from a distance, as well as a loud bang during extinguishing. According to local media, the fire engulfed the roof of the unfinished building but was extinguished by 22:26 PM. There were no injuries reported among residents or workers.

Emergency services and the Ministry of Emergency Situations quickly arrived at the scene to assess the damage and investigate the circumstances. There has been no official comment from law enforcement agencies yet.
