Krasnodar Krai, June 6 — Avia.proThe Krasnodar Krai emergency response center officially confirmed a fire at an oil depot in Ust-Labinsk. According to a published statement, the incident at the fuel and energy complex was the result of a drone attack.
According to preliminary reports from emergency services, there were no casualties among the plant's employees or local residents. Due to the fire's proximity to a residential area, emergency services evacuated 60 people from nearby residential buildings to a safe distance. Damage to window glass was reported in some nearby buildings as a result of the blast waves.
Significant resources and manpower have been deployed to extinguish and contain the fire at the fuel terminal. 167 specialists and 54 pieces of specialized equipment, including specialized units from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, are involved in the response. District authorities are coordinating the response, and residents are receiving necessary assistance.
