In Washington have strained: the president of Cuba is already flying to Moscow

The leader of Cuba will arrive in Moscow this week.

The editors of the portal Avia.pro received information that the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Kanel, intends to visit Moscow this Friday. According to available data, the Cuban President and the Russian President intend to discuss further cooperation between the two countries, however, analysts do not exclude that the revision of military-technical cooperation will become a key issue, which causes a lot of concern on the part of Washington.

Following the announcement by Donald Trump that the United States intends to withdraw from the Treaty on the Elimination of Medium and Short Range Missiles, reports began to appear that, in opposition to the decision of Washington, Russia intends to seriously strengthen its military presence at the US borders. It was also about the deployment of modern Russian air and missile defense systems in Cubaand about the possible the appearance of the Iskander Russian complexes on Freedom Island, capable of striking targets in most parts of the United States. Against the background of the visit of Miguel Diaz-Kanel to Moscow, analysts do not exclude that this is the key problem the leaders of Russia and Cuba will discuss.

This information was partially confirmed by the press service of the President of Russia:

“It is planned to discuss the state and prospects of deepening the Russian-Cuban strategic partnership in various fields, as well as to exchange views on topical international and regional issues”, - said in an official statement.

It is assumed that the details of the negotiations of the leaders of Cuba and Russia will be known by the end of this week.
