A shocking incident occurred in Volgograd: a 45-year-old man attacked a 12-year-old girl in the entrance of a house and tried to strangle her. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

Sixth-grader Masha (name changed) was returning home from school and decided to visit her friend. When the girl entered the entrance, an adult man attacked her from behind, told her not to scream and began to choke her. Everything lasted about ten seconds until the elevator doors opened and a man with children came out. Masha screamed, and the attacker threw her, after which he abruptly ran out of the entrance.

The man who saved Masha took her to a bench at the entrance. The girl warned her friends not to go outside. After some time, she saw the attacker again and ran to the playground, where her older sister was. From there the girl called her mother. Soon she noticed the criminal again and photographed him from the back.

The police quickly detained 45-year-old local resident Alexander B., who had a previous conviction. During interrogation, he admitted to what he had done. The Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for the Volgograd Region opened a criminal case of attempted murder. Alexander B. was detained.

The incident caused a wide resonance in society, especially after it became clear that the suspect’s page on social networks published photographs in the equipment of the Wagner PMC, as well as photographs of medals, including awards for courage and medals for the capture of Soledar and participation in the Bakhmut operations.
