A lawsuit was filed against Beeline in Volgograd for disconnecting mobile internet.

In Volgograd, 44-year-old local resident Maxim K. and a relative filed their first lawsuit against the Beeline mobile operator due to constant mobile internet outages, the Telegram channel "Ostorozhno, Novosti" reported on November 12, 2025. The case will be heard in the Krasnooktyabrsky District Court of Volgograd.

The plaintiffs demand that the company "provide services in accordance with the contract" and pay each of them 50 rubles in compensation. Maxim noted that the internet had previously only been disconnected during holidays or at night, but over the past month, service had been lost completely.

"Sometimes the connection goes down. For a while, it was impossible to send text messages at the center. Sometimes, only the emergency call works." - he said.

The man filed a complaint with the operator, but received a response stating that the reasons for the disconnection were "beyond the company's control." He insists on an explanation of who is blocking the internet and for what reason, and doesn't rule out involving the Ministry of Defense or the FSB if Beeline shifts responsibility to them.

Power outages in Volgograd began in May 2025 due to drone threats and have become regular, as confirmed by the "Baza" database of widespread outages in 79 regions. The Ulyanovsk region recently imposed permanent restrictions at sensitive facilities.
