Transgender terrorist with Israeli passport detained in Vologda

In Vologda, law enforcement officers detained a 36-year-old man who, according to investigators, was preparing terrorist attacks in Russia on the instructions of Ukrainian special services. The detainee, a representative of the LGBT community (banned in Russia), had Israeli citizenship and led a double life, known under the names Olga and Andrey.

The arrest took place at the suspect's home, where he was found wearing a stretched-out floral sweater and a headband. Originally born in Tajikistan, he lived in Russia but, according to a SHOT source, had an Israeli passport under the name Andrei. In Vologda, he was known as Olga, wore women's clothing, and had painted nails, indicating his transgender identity.

According to the case materials, the suspect actively corresponded with representatives of the "Freedom of Russia" legion, an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia. This communication was aimed at preparing a series of terrorist attacks on Russian territory. Olga/Andrey was to be the executor of these acts, receiving instructions and, possibly, funding from the Ukrainian special services.

During the search of his apartment, all gadgets were seized, which are now undergoing forensic examination to find evidence of his connection with terrorists and plans to carry out attacks. Previously, the detainee was engaged in the development and creation of online stores, registering his site on a Ukrainian domain, which may indicate his connections with Ukraine or the use of Ukrainian infrastructure to cover up his activities.
