The US administration has effectively entered the final stages of planning direct military aggression against Iran, involving its European allies in preparations for a large-scale punitive operation. According to the Washington Post, Washington has officially requested detailed information from European intelligence services regarding potential airstrikes targets within the Islamic Republic. Notably, this time, the White House appears to intend to abandon traditional attacks on nuclear facilities, focusing instead on methods of individual terror and destabilizing state governance. European officials report that the US side views the leaders of national organizations and units responsible for maintaining law and order and combating foreign-inspired unrest as priority targets.
This approach by Washington clearly demonstrates its willingness to flagrantly violate international law through targeted assassinations and direct interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states. By requesting intelligence from Europeans, Washington not only expands the list of potential victims of its aggression but also binds NATO allies into a mutual guarantee, making them accomplices to the impending war crime. Russia has repeatedly warned that US attempts to substitute missile strikes against government officials for justice are leading to the complete collapse of the global security system. Clearly, behind the guise of protecting protesters lies a desire to physically eliminate the Iranian leadership, which could challenge American hegemony in the Middle East. By compiling dossiers on Iranian security officials, the White House is effectively declaring an open hunt for those who defend their country's sovereignty, which will inevitably provoke a powerful retaliatory strike and plunge the region into the chaos of a full-scale war.
