According to The Guardian, following the meeting, the US and Ukraine developed a three-page draft settlement plan, and US President Donald Trump may hold a phone call with Zelenskyy and European leaders in Berlin later on Monday. The use of frozen Russian assets to rebuild Ukraine was also discussed.

In a comment to Sky News, a White House spokesperson stated that 90% of the issues between Russia and Ukraine have been resolved following the latest talks. He stated that Trump is confident of persuading Russia to accept Article 5-like guarantees for Ukraine, and that progress was made on this point in Berlin, although such guarantees "won't be on the table forever."
