On the evening of May 4, Ukraine intensified drone attacks on Moscow.

On the evening of May 4, Ukrainian drones launched a new series of attacks on Moscow. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin repeatedly reported the destruction of the drones by the Ministry of Defense's air defense forces.

The first two drones were shot down at around 18:22 PM. Less than an hour later, at 21:54 PM, the mayor reported the destruction of another UAV. The attacks continued that evening: at 18:18 PM, one drone was shot down, at 21:37 PM, another, and at 21:53 PM, another drone attack was repelled. Thus, on the evening of May 4, at least six drones were destroyed on approach to the capital.

Emergency services are working at all debris impact sites. There have been no reports of possible injuries or damage to the ground.

Earlier in the day, Sobyanin reported the destruction of two drones (at 3:56 PM) and two more (at 6:22 PM). Including the evening reports, the total number of drones shot down today has reached at least twelve. In total, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, over the past 24 hours, air defense systems destroyed 507 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions.
